Yup I’m busy with my daughter’s 5th birthday. That’s why this past few days I can’t think of anything to blog about even nonsense LOL. As part of our birthday gift to our daughter we brought her to some large museums here in Chicago like the Shedd Aquarium and Children’s museum. We spent one day per museum that’s why I’m so exhausted but I did enjoy the day with my family. We have lots of fun roaming around those museums.

Yes I am! Rise of the nation is an old game way back in 2005. As you can see on the image below it was the PC game of the year during that time. I just wonder why I did not get a chance to play this game before. Though graphics is not that fabulous like Starcraft and Red Alert but the gameplay is awesome and well balanced. One of the best RTS (real time strategy) game on PC. I really like it

My husband and I are actually looking for old games that are great and do not have high system requirements. So that’s the reason why we found out about Rise of the Nation.

Travelling without car…

is totally pain in the ass… I’m telling you!

Just this morning we went to one of a determent store preparing to buy some stuff for my daughter’s upcoming school. We waited at the bus station for about more than an hour for the bus and still the bus didn’t show up. So we decided to take a cab but for some reason, all the cabs just passed by us. None of them stopped and we don’t know why. Oh well its just one of the reason why I really want to buy a car.

Speaking of cars, have you heard about electric and hybrid vehicles? I’m pretty sure you heard about it coz those cars are actually launched a year ago. Just take a look at this pic… Its a new Toyota Hybrid X. It’s a perfect car for a family of four.

How I wish we can afford that car. Actually, my husband had been checking a car insurance online quote coz he badly wants to buy a car. Although 2nd hand car is what we can afford for now but there’s nothing wrong on wanting a brand new car, right? I just hope we can meet the target budget by the end of the year.

A present for him…

I’d really like to buy something for my husband. Although there’s no special occasion, I just want to give him a simple present to thank him for being there for me and our kids. I know he really likes shoes but he already has a lot and just bought a couple recently. Another thing that I remember that he also likes is men’s jewelry. The last time I bought him jewelry is about 8 years ago. It’s been a long time, so, it maybe perfect to get him a new chain bracelet or necklace. I really like giving my husband presents because he takes care of his belongings and I know everything I give him no matter how simple he treasures.
