Best way to lose weight
Oct 21, 2008 Ideas, Worth Blogging
Ever since I gave birth to my second daughter I feel like I never got back to my old figure. I feel that I’m still a little over weight. Maybe I should go to the gym and exercise or even just start running a little bit but in the same time I also keep thinking what if I just take some diet pills. That might work too. The only issue about weight loss pills that’s holding me back is safety. Sometimes the pill might not be right for you and can definitely be a problem in the future. On the other hand, If you’re compatible with the pill you’re taking then you’ll end up having a better figure than you dreamed of. So, it can be awesome and it can also go the other way. There are risks, I just don’t know if I should take the them.

Nice Place
Oct 17, 2008 Ideas, Worth Blogging
I noticed that here in the United States places like drug rehabilitation centers are really nice compared to what I know in the Philippines. Rehab centers in the Philippines are old, crowded, unsanitary and just plain ugly while here it’s like you live in a hotel. Not that I’ve been to such a place but I always see some pictures on the internet and they’re gorgeous. No wonder why drug addicts in the Philippines are never cured because such an old run down place can never give a patient the peace of mind they need. I hope the Philippines government would help build a nice rehab center like what we have here in the US because that’s just what they need over there.

Wanting to go out of town
Oct 16, 2008 Worth Blogging
I’ve always wanted to go somewhere. To a different state…to another city. My husband and I have always wanted to travel and go on vacation but unfortunately we cannot. Freya is still to little to travel and Yuna is in school right now. Next summer when school ends maybe we can get away from Chicago and see other nice cities. By then, Freya is much bigger and we can travel comfortably. Some places I would like to go to includes San Francisco, L.A., New York and Las Vegas. I want to travel to Las Vegas not gamble but to see the gorgeous lights. Traveling shouldn’t be too expensive. You just have to know how to look for vacation packages and there are lots of them on the internet especially when you’re looking for a Vegas package. You’ll definitely find a cheap vegas hotel.

My dream business
Oct 15, 2008 Ideas
I’ve always wanted to start my own business even when I was still in the Philippines. I’ve concluded that there’s absolutely no way that I’ll be successful in life if I just work for a certain company unless it’s a major company I work for and I have a very good position. So, the only way I can reach my goals is to start my own business. I’ve thought of so many kinds of way to start a business and how to handle my business and make it a successful one. To me, the key to a successful business is correct management, budgeting and planning.
Until now I haven’t forgotten about one day being my own boss. My husband and I always talk about what we could do in the future. But for now, all we can do is to save as much money as we can and then later on fulfill our dream of having our own business.

Midnight Meat Train!
Oct 14, 2008 Buzz
I like the month of October because its a month filled with ghost stories and bloody movies hehehe. Since Halloween is almost here, I can watch horror and gory movies at Comcast On Demand channel until I get tired of them LOL. I started by watching Midnight Meat Train. I’m telling you, you’re gonna love this movie if you are a slasher and a bloody movie fanatic. Almost every scene will make you cringe… (insert scary sounds here)!

The movie runs 1 and 1/2 hour. It’s a short movie but wont hang you with vague endings. The train in this movie is the most terrifying ride you’ll ever take bwahahaha!
Oh BTW, Brooke Shields is the only actress in this movie whom I’m familiar with. Here’s the video for the trailer of the movie. Have fun guys and advance happy Halloween to all!

Decorating the house
Oct 5, 2008 Ideas, Worth Blogging
Recently, my husband and I cleaned the whole house. We lifted all the furniture’s and made sure that everything is completely clean. After cleaning we brought out all the frames and other house decorations that we have been keeping for a long time now. We never really had the time to do a general cleaning before so we never even thought about decorating. After hanging all the frames and also putting some decors in the bathroom, I was really pleased with the outcome. Are house finally looks like a home. One more thing that I want to add to the walls are sconces. A sconce can make a room look very romantic and relaxing. I’ll be looking for nice sconces that would look great on our wall and as soon as I find one I’ll definitely put it up right away.

Frail luggage
Oct 5, 2008 Products, Worth Blogging
My husband always travels from here in the US to our home country the Philippines. He travels once a year and guess what? every year he needs to buy a new luggage. I don’t know what they do in the airport that everytime his luggage comes out it’s always busted or at least something’s broke somehow. I don’t know if I should blame the airport’s crew or the luggage company. He has used different luggage’s from cheap ones to expensive and all of them served their purpose only for a short time.
I was told by a friend who also frequently travels that he uses Delsey luggage. This particular luggage he has used numerous times is still in good condition. There are so many luggage brands out there right now and they all promise to be durable but from my husband’s experiences, I would ask or read some user reviews before I purchase one.

I really dont like BB phones…
Oct 4, 2008 Cellphones
…but I was hypnotized by the newly announced BlackBerry Storm 9500 after seeing the pictures. It has a Display type of TFT touchscreen with 65K colors a 3.15 MP camera, 2048×1536 pixels, autofocus, video, flash, Built-in GPS, A-GPS function, BlackBerry maps and a lot more. I know SE P990i is better than this especially their display screen colors. Also this BB has a big screen but it doesn’t offer the handwriting recognition. Well, I’m a little bit happier of what American phones has to offer in the market today. They’re doing good unlike before when they were so behind.
Anyways, going to another topic, fall seaon is already here. I can see the fallen leaves everyday. They’re beautiful to watch as if they’re preparing to rest and sleep for the whole winter season and be back again in spring with new and fresh flowers and leaves. I can feel the coldness here in Chicago. The one of the coldest city I’ve heard. You can no more see ladies wearing swimsuits, short shorts and even skirts. Oh well, I hate freezing weather. It makes me sick and lazy.

manual electronics
Oct 2, 2008 Accessories, Chit Chat
If you live in a remote area where electricity is very scarce I would recommend that you use manually powered appliances. There are many things that normally require electric but can also work manually like wind up clocks, watches, wind up fans, wind up radios and much more. Although these appliances require effort and time to make them work, they sure work like regular appliances and plus you save electricity by using them.
If I were alone and lived in a forest or the mountains, I would love to use the mentioned appliances. See, I love simple things and would like a very simple life. It’s just that things like these would really suit my personality.
