Goodbye HDTV, Hello 3DTV!!
Mar 29, 2010 Accessories, Appliances, Ideas
Just a few years after HDTV was announced, they’re now a thing of the past. Why? Well that’s because companies will start introducing the lastest technology refered to as “3D TV”. WOW! I can’t believe that something like this exist already. I feel like it’s too soon. But oh well, who wouldn’t enjoy watching TV and playing games in 3d mode? I know I would.
From what I know, giant companies like Sony, Toshiba, LG, Samsung and more plan to introduce the new prouct sometime this year but Samsung actually went ahead already and introduced their 3D TV last February. Of course, in exchange for the awesome 3d experience these TV’s offer is a very high price tag. I believe that you would have to drop $3,000 to pick up this TV.
At first, you might think that it’s too much for something that you don’t really need. But when you really think about it, this is the future. Sooner or later you’ll have to make the change and get it. Actually, this is also the future of video gaming. From what I’ve read and heard, there are already 3d games compatible with the latest 3d TV for Sony PS3 that’s being developed right now. Even the PS3′s bluray player will be upgraded and will playback 3d blurays. Man, I can just imagine how cool it will be to use Playstation’s latest tech called “Move” (which will be out later this year) together with the new 3d technology. It would be a blast!
Before I forget, for those wo haven’t made the change to HDTV and still using the old standard TV, this is the best time to make the switch. $600 will get you a nice, decent size HDTV.

There is no cure for eczema…
Mar 21, 2010 Worth Blogging
There is no cure for eczema even if you have eczema treatment. We may say that now but who knows what can happen in 100 years? Imagine that in less than 100 years, we have managed to make man fly, and not just to the sky, but to the space! What has been thought impossible for thousands and millions of years, we have achieved in 100 years! And now we can even talk to people despite distances! How marvelous science is!
just a weird thought of me…

There could now be a cure for nodular acne! Okay I’m saying this could might be possible in the near future because have you ever heard of designer babies? Because of the advances in cloning technology, some can now alter their young one’s genes even before they were born! But these traits must be present in both parents. If one parent has nodular acne, then you can probably take that part of the gene out and then you’d have acne-free baby. It’s amazing and frightening at the same time.
Need to be cautious all the time…

Being a mother, I always make sure to always have my daughters go to their regular check ups. It is important because I want them to grow up healthy and strong and as much as possible, help them in their fight of diseases. Good thing there is now technology that will help us decrease the chances of cancer! And maybe they won’t develop mesothelioma because did you see about the mesothelioma life expectancy? I think that as time progresses, new medicine will have been found to help these people.
low cost insurance

I was online all night last night. For some reason, I just wanted to browse online and look for low cost insurance. I learned about Blue Advantage while looking around. This type of insurance which is a PPO will work for you if you have a tight budget. It offers great coverage plus the security of predictable copayments. It’s pretty reliable and of course a lot better than not having insurance at all.

Few more days to get sweaty…
Mar 13, 2010 Worth Blogging
I’ve started to give up on studying those diet pills and decided that I will lose my weight the natural way – through exercising! I found a gym with quite a good set of fitness equipment in their arsenal so I might give it a try. It’s boring when the only equipment you have in the gym are those old school treadmills and stationary bicycles. Well, they ARE effective but I get tired of them since they are quite monotonous. I should have chosen this method of losing weight long ago – it’s much safer and has more guaranteed results. Can’t really wait for the Spring break. Gym here I come, few more days before the official Spring Season starts.
Just another diet pills related post

Most of the diet pills I tried or had my friends tried before were scams- that’s why I’ve been skeptical about the effects these pills claim to have in their ads. One of my friends who is studying in med school actually proved that some of those were quite useless, so she advised me to try something else instead. Recently I’ve come upon phentermine; I haven’t tried it yet – but some claim that it has no bad side effects so it’s quite safe to use. So for those of you who have tried this product out, please share your comments / experiences ^^
Guy friends this is for you ;p

One of my guy friends was just complaining to me about how there are a lot of woman’s health related blogs on the internet while men related blogs are limited. He said that he’s tired of diet pills which mostly only females used. Therefore I showed him a blog post about extenze and he absolutely loved it! It had everything he needed about enhancing you-know-what and everything else related to the male physique.
I’m a mom of this new generation…
Mar 13, 2010 Chit Chat
Some of my friends see me as a fashion mom or a nerd mom… this is the new generation alright? LoLz. I wonder if being called as a nerd mom is an insult? hmm?! I don’t think so… you are entitled to call me those names whenever you want, I don’t really care. Age doesn’t stop me from dressing like the chic teenagers you see in the mall nor does it mean that just because I’m a gamer that I have to appear like a bum. A site I normally browse through is the Christian Louboutin gallery, however, due to their price range, I can only window shop online ^^ I love their wedges and ankle boots and I usually use them as a basis for buying other brands with similar designs. Of course, I’d prefer the original brand, so if there is a kind soul out there reading this post who would want to give me one as a gift, feel free to do so ;p
1st day with FFXiii
Mar 10, 2010 Consoles, Video Games
As some of you know that we are huge fans of Final Fantasy’s games for the past years. As a matter of fact, our daughter’s name are both from this game FFIX and FFX. I wanna share my husband’s point of view about this new Final Fantasy XIII.
******
Last night around midnight, I was one of the excited individuals who went to Gamestop to get a copy of the much awaited game called Final Fantasy XIII. A lot of gamers have been anticipating this game since its announcement almost four years ago. Final Fantasy XIII was actually released in Japan during the past holiday and since then a lot of critics from the West have been voicing their opinion on the game. Some negative opinions actually made me think twice about getting the game like how linear the game is and about the boring story line. However, I just thought that I still love great graphics and cutscenes so why not give it a try.
Well, I’ve put in a few hours on the game and so far…so good. Right now, I don’t really have a problem if the game’s too linear because in my own opinion that’s how it should be. Final Fantasy games have a deep story that you need to follow in order for you to fulfill its entertainment value. You can’t just run around and go to different places and create your own story. That’s a different game. Try Oblivion or Dragon Age which are open world games. Final Fantasy is what I want to describe as like God of War where you follow only one path but instead of the hack and slash gameplay like the latter its more on strategy and inputting commands according to the given situation.
The story isn’t bad either. I want to say its decent. You’re introduced to some nice looking characters who all have things to achieve and so problems arises and then your eager to know what will happen next and how the story will unfold. Boring? Who ever said that in my opinion is very wrong. And of course, let’s not forget about the gorgeous cutscenes. Oohhh….the cutscenes really bring life to the story because they are all so beautiful. Just because of the cutscenes I can say without a doubt Final Fantasy XIII is the most beautiful game I’ve ever played. I can’t say that for the other version though. On PS3 its awesome but i heard the 360 version had to suffer a little bit on graphics because of its disc limitations.
Also, before I forget, the battles are also extremely fun. It’s more fast paced and while in battle the graphics are still amazing. Unlike past Final Fantasy games, where you want to flee everytime you encounter an enemy because it gets too boring well in XIII you’ll want to keep battling because of it’s fun gameplay and nice visuals.
Overall, this game is exactly what I expected it to be. It may not be what I want it exactly to be but for now I’m more than satisfied. This game may not be for everyone especially for fans of open world games but try to understand what Final Fantasy is all about then you’ll definitely appreciate it. Now, I am looking forward to future FF games. At least I know that Square Enix is heading the right direction.
