Goodbye HDTV, Hello 3DTV!!

Just a few years after HDTV was announced, they’re now a thing of the past. Why? Well that’s because companies will start introducing the lastest technology refered to as “3D TV”. WOW! I can’t believe that something like this exist already. I feel like it’s too soon. But oh well, who wouldn’t enjoy watching TV and playing games in 3d mode? I know I would.

From what I know, giant companies like Sony, Toshiba, LG, Samsung and more plan to introduce the new prouct sometime this year but Samsung actually went ahead already and introduced their 3D TV last February. Of course, in exchange for the awesome 3d experience these TV’s offer is a very high price tag. I believe that you would have to drop $3,000 to pick up this TV.

At first, you might think that it’s too much for something that you don’t really need. But when you really think about it, this is the future. Sooner or later you’ll have to make the change and get it. Actually, this is also the future of video gaming. From what I’ve read and heard, there are already 3d games compatible with the latest 3d TV for Sony PS3 that’s being developed right now. Even the PS3′s bluray player will be upgraded and will playback 3d blurays. Man, I can just imagine how cool it will be to use Playstation’s latest tech called “Move” (which will be out later this year) together with the new 3d technology. It would be a blast!

Before I forget, for those wo haven’t made the change to HDTV and still using the old standard TV, this is the best time to make the switch. $600 will get you a nice, decent size HDTV.

I hate filthy dust that gets into my laptop

Don’t you just hate it when your computer gets dirty? For example, spots of dust that look like adult acne suddenly invade your computer monitor, you’d definitely be wanting to wipe that off! Besides maintaining personal hygiene, I believe that it’s best to be neat with whatever you do and be neat with your things especially the computer because the keyboard has actually almost the same amount of bacteria as our mouths do! Who knows what could be hiding or buried under the keys! Remember that godliness is next to cleanliness! That’s why I always have my Dust-off Cleaning Spray ^_^x

I’m looking for surround speakers

Just a week ago, my husband and I picked up a new HDTV. We didn’t plan on buying a new TV but since it was on sale at Target we went ahead and made the purchase. It’s really not bad especially when considering how much we paid for it. Now, there are two things that we would like to buy to compliment the TV, a new TV stand and surround sound speakers. The speakers might have to wait a little since they’re a little expensive so for now we might just get a new stand. I’ve been browsing the web for affordable tv stands and fortunately they’re everywhere. Hopefully, soon I can find a good deal for some nice speakers. You all should let me know if you see some good speaker deals out there.

Some gadget shopping

As what I have said in my other blog, we went shopping last Sunday. I bought all the necessary accessories for our gadgets like this cute pink mini mice and a pink mouse pad for my laptop. Guess what brand I chose? Its from Microsoft, I did not know that they’re venturing to electronics. I also purchased 2 cans of electronic dust spray. I’ve been wanting that dust spray for like a year now.  It was a nice feeling that you got all you need though I still need to buy a wireless USB for Yuna’s computer. We moved her computer table in the other side of the house which is away from the internet modem. Oh by the way, just want to brag a little, we finally got a new HDTV. Not a famous brand and the size is only 32″ but we are kind of contented and happy cos at last we have an HDTV now. Hubby said we are going to buy the big one with a nice brand next time. The husband is so happy with his new TV. He couldn’t stop playing all his PS3 games.

We have also tested the blue-ray disc of our PS3 for the 1st time. We watched the ‘Push’ movie and I can believe we’ve missed the quality of the blue-ray disc for such a long time. It was so awesome watching movie in HD. So sharp and clear. I’m loving our new TV ^_^x

On the other hand, I feel like changing my phone again. I don’t want a sociable mobile phone anymore. Right now, I only want a phone that has Mobile internet where I can blog and browse the internet. That’s it no other unnecessary stuff. Also, I want one with a bigger screen d(>w<)b

PS3 Motion Sensing Controller!

Something to watch out this coming Spring for PS3 gamers.

…the prototype looks like a wand with a color-changing ball on top. It’s designed to work in conjunction with the PlayStation Eye, with the wand overlaid on-screen with a weapon or tool. Unlike Microsoft’s Project Natal, Sony says they’ve learned “some experiences need buttons,” which is why there’s still a controller involved. The system is said to be “sub-millimeter” precise, and it was demoed drawing and playing a shooter — it’s sort of the middle ground between Natal and Wii Motion Plus. Sony says it’ll launch in the spring of 2010, but we don’t know what pricing will be like yet.

Watch the video patiently the controller’s functions are really cool!

Take note it’s only prototype. I wish the final version would look better than this prototype that looks like a microphone with pink head :D

Do you wear Breeches?

I haven’t heard about breeches not until I search about it just a while ago. I know some of you already know what it is especially those Equestrian or horse rider. According to a website that I stumbled upon just minutes ago, Breeches were also made to be identical, from inside out (including the same inner waistband pattern). Buckles at the base of the legs were cast from an actual screen used pair, and buttons were matched up to those of the stunt pair. Breeches also made from a specially dyed linen. Breeches are redesign for to match up these days fashion.

Cool shoes!

Have you ever felt lazy to go to a gym because of its monotonous schedule? Skechers suddenly released a new line of shoes that are specially designed to fit a person’s shoe and exercise the muslces in our feet. It also helps burn calories faster even while walking. It may look funny but I think it’s actually good and it helps increase height!

So does this mean we should ditch the treadmills and wear the shoe? I do think treadmill is a good but expensive investment. But the shoe wears and tears so it’s up to you readers to decide.

Home theatre is awesome…

I wish I had a mini-movie house inside my home. I remember reading a comic story in Archie comics about how little Veronica would always have fun at home while the kids hang out in school. How could Little Ronnie not have fun when she has a huge movie theater inside her own home that’s complete with popcorn, plush and comfy chairs and big screen?

But realistically speaking, unless you are a millionaire or billionaire of course, you cannot install a movie theatre inside your home. Your best bet is to get a home theatre system that has good sounds and visuals. So you better have a super neat flat lcd screen that is up to date with technology like HDMI. Superb speakers are needed and if you can get a discount satellite speaker set then that is definitely better! Then you need a homemade popcorn maker, a good movie and you’re set!!

Think about the benefits of a home movie theatre. It’s a good investment since you might use it everyday for 5 or more years and get instant access to movies! There are convenient rentals out there and you have no need to worry about “personal” space inside your own home.

KVM switch

Are you all familiar with KVM switches? A KVM switch is a device that lets you control multiple computers from one keyboard. How awesome is that? So, if you’re one of those people who works with a lot of computers this might be the best way to multitask. You’ll save a lot of time and plus everything will be less complicated with the use of a KVM switch instead of having to transfer from one computer to another only to access a certain file.

My Best External USB HDD!

I got this as a Christmas present from my dearest hubby. I’ve been longing to find an affordadle yet durable and easy to use external drive until my husabnd gave it to me last Christmas, like I said. I have no problem using it. It is very easy to install and easy to use. The back-up security is user-friendly. I also love the short cable, great for my laptop and transfer times are fast. I like it, oh wait, not only that I like it but i love it soooo much!

I dont’t need to worry anymore about having not enough space on my laptop’s internal drive. Though, I’ve got only one more thing to buy for our pc, the laptop memory. I hope I’ll be able to find one that could be a great purchase.
