Strange Things Are Happening In France

My good friend is studying in France now and she says that she is having the time of her life exploring that beautiful European country. The architecture is so beautiful. Some of the people are great and you would be greeted by a good Bonjour always. And to top it off, nothing is better than French bread!
But there are so many strange things in France too. Like how residences only have rooms for one person despite the big room size. Everything moves slowly and start late in France and stores are closed on Sunday and some on Monday. It is very peculiar how cars here can park on sidewalks. Makes you wonder if they also use thermogenic fat burner because French people seem to be so fit! Well this is a good kind of strange.
But really, she does love that strange and beautiful country!
I want gadget to see people beyond their mask…

Do you suppose their will ever be a gadget that will give you X-ray vision? Oh not the one like Superman’s. But to see past through the stereotype of people. It seems like we always put people in a box already when we first meet them. Like we categorize them by skin color, their clothing, their eye color, height, weight and a lot of others. It would be easier to see with this gadget because then you’d not stereotype your seatmate and you would be able to think of him other than that herpes simplex boy.
It would be nice to see beyond the mask that people hide themselves in. But I think that’s what life is all about. It’s all about discovery and making mistakes.

We were talking about the cartoons of the old days. We were singing their theme songs (like Dexter’s laboratory, Captain planet and such) and we were wondering what happened to the good old days where everything was so simple. Technology is evolving fast. I mean what we couldn’t do in centuries, we can now do it in decades and all we have to do is to wait. Like now we have diet pills for those who want to become thin when all you had to do was just eat a balanced diet then. I am really curious as to what will happen in the near future.
The Jetsons cartoon is probably 20 years old already but maybe in a decade or more, we would be living in the time of flying cars and robot maids already. Who knows.

My mother in law just turned 47 and the thought that 3 more years to go and she’s 50 is almost like a wake up call for her to take care of her skin. She is now in search of wrinkle creams that actually works.
She spends a few hours online searching for the best one for her and she has also been in contact with her friends asking for their suggestions. I noticed she bookmarked a website called wrinklecreams.com .. so I asked her why? She said she found her new favorite site because it taught her plenty of info about wrinkle creams.
metal tile laptop desk

One of my hobby is to search randomly online. Anything that I can think of like for example, a while ago, I was just thinking to look up a small computer desk that I can use for my laptop. Just a small desk that I can just easily pull it anytime I want. I want a table that’s covered with metal tile on top of it so it could be easily cleaned and it can last long even if my toddler will be messing with it every now and then. Talking about durability 
I wonder if I can make my own desk with metal tile on it (?_?)

Some of my friends see me as a fashion mom or a nerd mom… this is the new generation alright? LoLz. I wonder if being called as a nerd mom is an insult? hmm?! I don’t think so… you are entitled to call me those names whenever you want, I don’t really care. Age doesn’t stop me from dressing like the chic teenagers you see in the mall nor does it mean that just because I’m a gamer that I have to appear like a bum. A site I normally browse through is the Christian Louboutin gallery, however, due to their price range, I can only window shop online ^^ I love their wedges and ankle boots and I usually use them as a basis for buying other brands with similar designs. Of course, I’d prefer the original brand, so if there is a kind soul out there reading this post who would want to give me one as a gift, feel free to do so ;p
Should I Digitize Everything?

I’m planning to get a camcorder as I have said in my other blog, silayin.com, but I wonder, will it come with the necessary parts and equipment? I hope I can find a package one and what kind of memory card will it use? Maybe a better high transfer rate of micro sd card? I better research more and be careful in choosing the particular camcorder I want. I have to be technologically updated for my kids! This reminds me… should I digitize my old home videos on betamax and vhs? Oh I would want to save our memories. What a gadget freak I am ^_^
Machines have lives too…
It’s funny how we also treat our machines like humans don’t you think? We sometimes talk to them, “Hey how come you’re not starting up well laptop? Do you need a break? A warm massage on your delicate monitor?” and sometimes our little gadgets would get sick and like humans who need an insurance quote, we would also sign them up for warranty and have them be repaired at no cost! These little guys are also close to our hearts. Who says machines don’t have lives?

Many of my friends said that I’m a babyface but I have to disagree cos having babyface for me is like having no wrinkles in any part of your face. I have wrinkles near my eyes especially in the lower part. I want some advice on great eye cream product or wrinkle filler. I’ve seen some products online but the price is against my will lol. It’s kinda pricey. It’s just so amazing to know that this kind of product exist in today’s generation unlike before its really not a big deal for ordinary people.
