Reading should be easy and fun with Sony eReader

Today is my husbands birthday. Every year on his birthday he would always buy something nice for himself. Last year I think he bought shoes. I can’t really remember. Anyway for this year’s birthday he bought a Sony Reader at Borders. There are lots of ereaders out there right now so it was hard to decide which one to get. Before purchasing the Sony Reader he also considered getting the Kobo but unfortunately they didn’t have it in the store.
I’ve used the Sony Reader a few times already and I’m really impressed with it. There are tons of features that are pretty cool like the dictionary tool that lets you look up the meaning of a word as you read just by double tapping the word using the stylus or with your finger. It’s very handy and I think it’s one good reason to use an ereader. Also you can highlight some text that you like then add notes about it and store it for later use. You can also store music in the reader so that you can listen to music while you read. It’s very useful especially when you’re riding the bus or train where people are loud and you want to concentrate on reading.
The Sony Reader came with a computer program called the Reader Library where you can purchase and download ebooks. Downloading was fast and easy and transferring files was a breeze. The Reader can store about 350 ebooks using the internal memory and much more if you use the two slots for sd card and memory stick pro duo. Oh and of course, I have to mention how nice and elegant it looks compared to other readers out there. It is more practical than getting an iPad too.
Overall, my husband was very satisfied with his purchase. Also, according to him, the Kobo is also worth checking out. The screen is brighter and text is much darker although it just looks a little funky. Now that he has a reader, reading should be easy and fun.
